Media playback (videos) incorrect

Hello,
I've had a problem since switching to Windows 11 that I've never had before, and we've been using OpenLP in our church for over 10 years.

Media playback (videos) isn't displayed correctly on the presentation screen.
As soon as the video starts, the desktop is displayed at about three-quarters of its width, and only a portion of the video plays at the far right edge (one-quarter).
Song slides are displayed correctly.
I've checked the display settings in Windows and OpenLP, and they're correct.
VLC is installed (32-bit version).
Does anyone else have this problem and have a solution?

The installation was performed on a newly installed laptop with Windows 11 Pro.
HP Zbook Firefly 14 G7 14-inch Full HD Laptop Intel Core i5-10310U
Onboard graphics
16GB RAM
Presentation screen resolution 1280x720
HiDPI mode is disabled
OpenLP 3.1.7
VLC Version 3 and Version 2, 32-bit testet

I don't see this issue, I'm using the 64 bit 3.0.21 version of VLC, I do see a white box in the top left of the display until the video starts but then it plays full screen.

Do you have any extra arguments for VLC in the Media settings? (I don't)

PaulRowell Are you running Windows? I get the same white box under Linux! I assumed it was an X/Wayland or compositor thing.

*Edit: I only have mp4 videos, and I get the white box playing them in OpenLP.

Hi Frank,

Funnily enough for tomorrow's service we had a video sent to us in .mov format which instead of filling the screen as it did when playing in standalone VLC only filled part of the display in OpenLP. So I used Handbrake to convert it to .mp4 format and now it plays perfectly. You may want to try this with your video to see if this works for you.

Thank you very much for your answers.
Based on Paul's comment, I reinstalled the latest 64-bit version of VLC.
The result was the same.

But I finally found the solution!
In the display settings, I had set the recommended high resolution for Display 1 (laptop display), but since everything was too small, I set the scaling to 150%. When I set the scaling to 100%, the video played correctly on Display 2.
Crazy!
To make the display a bit larger on Display 1, I set it to a lower resolution. This now gives me good results, and everything is running smoothly.
