How to sort your screens on Windows

Hi Paul,
I have the same main screen issue as what mrslorimerritt has. I had a previous version of OpenLP and this occured after I installed the latest version. Running the Debug version shows the same screen issue. I downloaded the portable version but the same screen issue occurs. I also can't click on anything on the screen.

Just wanted to confirm that you are not seeing any items on the menu bar? If so then I haven't seen this behaviour before.

What resolution is the screen on the computer you are using? Is the scale something other than 100%?

I think I know what is happening. I think one of your library view is covering the OpenLP menu. Please can you try running this command in a CMD window:

REG DELETE "HKCU\Software\OpenLP\OpenLP\user interface"

Then restart OpenLP.
This should reset your view to the normal Show All view.

Hi Paul,
Even after following your advice the same issue occurred. I uninstalled the latest version, downloaded and installed version 2.4 (which was the previous version I had/ used) but now the following issue (see picture). No other options, under Library, in the left side panel.

Given that you currently don't have a working system, I'm wondering whether you might be willing to try a rather drastic approach that will delete all of your OpenLP settings? If so then you could try this command:

REG DELETE HKCU\Software\OpenLP

Once you have done this, when you restart OpenLP it should go through the initial First Time use process.

To connect OpenLP with OBS,
enable the Remote plugin in OpenLP, create a custom stage view, and use it as a browser source in OBS. This allows OpenLP to control what is displayed on your stream, such as lower thirds for lyrics, Bible verses, and chords, without needing greenscreening. Hi, we have noticed something a little annoying (Win 11 OpenLP 3.1.7)
When we right-click on a service item, our second screen (projector) suddenly shows the background rather than what it should be showing.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour, or have a fix for it?

PaulRowell I have this issue on OpenLP and have been trying endlessly to solve it with no luck.
took my laptop to a local support store and they could not fix the scaling issue as described in your post.

Could you please assist me in solving this scaling issue with the windows on OpenLP

This looks very similar to the issue seen by EricM earlier in this post.

Could you try running this command in a CMD window:

REG DELETE HKCU\Software\OpenLP

This will delete all your OpenLP settings and when you start OpenLP should take you through the initial First Time use process. You may then have to follow the steps from the first reply on this post.

Dock the OpenLP web controller into OBS as a Custom Browser Dock.Add OpenLP lyrics to OBS as a Browser Source, by using a simple custom Stage View. No greenscreening is needed.
