I downloaded 3.1.6 today to get it a test drive.
Issues addressed.
1) I did not have to contend with the pesky virus warnings and overriding them at serval levels. THANKS
2) I have not been able to the updates after 3.1.2 because my screen would lock up with videos. I can use 3.1.6. THANKS
3) The small black box during video start up is gone. The smooth transition is much better. THANKS
Issues Remaining:
First) Consider a system setting for auto running videos. It seems they load with Auto Start - inactive. It is nice having an override with the video item, but I would like to set the system to Auto Start videos as a default (or not). Then change the setting for aa particular video as might be needed. Right now, I have to remember to set Auto-Start when constructing the service.
Second) THE BIGGEST ISSUE. Once the video starts, only the sound is heard. I have to click on the screen to get the video. This is with an AMD onboard GPU.
(Added note: Tested on WIN 10 Lenovo with Intel CPU and NVIDIA GTX GPU. The small box appears for a second, then the video starts on its own. On my WIN 11 HP OMEN with AMD CPU and AMD GPU and NVIDIA GPU, the sound starts, but not the video when using the AMD GPU, but when using the NVIDIA GPU, the small box appears for a second and the sound and video run. I am sure there is a problem in OpenLP running the AMD GPU, and maybe be related to the small box?
