3.1.5 crashed, can't reinstall successfully

My system crashed and I'm not able to repair or reinstall 3.1.5
(I did send in a bug report already.)
I used the installer to uninstall the program, then try to reinstall again. System is Windows 10, Defender is currently off with the exclusions in place for when it's running.
I use a shared folder for the data location which has worked perfectly for several years with other versions.

Do I need to do something special to uninstall/reinstall, or should I just try a reboot in between steps?

So based on what I'm seeing, I'll go my usual route and purge everything and reboot and start over. This particular Windows machine is slated to be upgraded to Linux shortly, so if I'm without for a few days it's all good.

So it looks like Windows had a memory problem, but something I did with Themes contributed. Reboot showed some problems, but reinstalling 3.1.5 worked and default settings worked, so now I'm recovering my data.

wemmc Further update, found that I had 2 themes where the json file was corrupted. Not sure how they got that messed up, but after removing those themes, everything worked properly.

If you ever run into something like this, I removed half the themes, and checked to see if it opened. Still crashed, so I put those back and removed the other half and that worked. Put half of those back and it still worked, added more back until it would give me the error. Then narrowed down until it was those two themes. looked at he json compared to a working one, and discovered the errors.

wemmc OpenLP really should handle corrupted themes better, in my opinion. I've created a bug report to track this. Could you send us the corrupted theme files?
