I was using some earlier 3.x version on Windows 11.

I had so much problem solving scaling issue. But I managed it. I didnt wanted to install new version because I was afraid of having scaling issues again. After months of not updating, against my gut feeling I finaly did it, to my big regret. Now I have scaling issue all over again but this time I just cant solve it.

It is not my Windows. ALL OTTHER APPS scale just fine. They scale fine in main window and in extended window to external screen. OpenLP is the ONLY app that cant correctly recognise even the resolution of the main screen.

Somewhere I read that OpenLP just reads what Windows 11 sends it to it. But, how all other apps get correct info but OpenLP???

Please, is there some solution? I tried everything. If I manual add resolution then position is not good. Just, whatever I try it doesnt work. I tried manualy editing resolution, changing position, changing scaling for screen 2 etc etc.

What is the real problem and what is acctualy the solution?

Thanks

Zolee Could you give us some details of the screen resolution you have. My guess is that you have a high density display...

PaulRowell It is just Full HD screen. 1920x1080.

When I move any other app to extended screen it works just fine.

      Only problem is with OpenLP.

If I add custom geometry for Screen 2 and type 1920x1080, then screen is still too big even if that is correct resolution and even if all other apps correctly display themselfs when I move them over to secondary display.

If I put windows scaling for second screen from 125% to 100%, then Openlp correctly recognises resolution as 1920x1080. Then I put screen to Full screen in settings of Screen 2 (as there is no more need for custom geometry) but then the the OpenLP output is displayed offset.

If I use custom geomentry and type negative number for Left position, then screen looks totaly the same as in the frist picture.

What graphics card do you have? Make sure you have the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

I will check that, but still, all other apps work just fully fine when I move them over to extended window.

What happens if you set the scaling for all screens to 100%?

Updated to the latest drive. Everything is still the same as I expected as none other app has this issue.

Just to mention - Till now, I used 4 different laptops on 2 different screens - issue is always the same, in neither combination it works fine.

          SOLVED!

Changed High DPI settings in properties of OpenLP.exe to "scaling performed by application".

          Thanks for help!

I just realized, OpenLP 3.0.2 in W11 correctly recognises resolution but not OpenLP 3.1.x.
I managed to "fix" the issue in version 3.0.2. In all newer versions it is impossible to make OpenLP recognise resolution.
