WebRemote v0.9.11 breaks Stage View for older browsers

Hi, we use an old Samsung Android tablet to display the stage view screen for singers (using Chrome browser). OpenLP prompted me to update the WebRemote to v0.9.11 which I did, but now the stage view says that the browser is not supported. I can't update the browser as it has the latest version supported by the tablet. We don't need the Web remote, just to view the stage view screen - which I didn't think was part of the web remote, I thought it was just a javascript webpage served by OpenLP.

We also have a custom stage view showing a lower-third graphics bar for words overlay, this still works.

Is this warning intentional/necessary for the stage view?

I decided to make a custom stage view to get around this. It looks exactly like the normal stage view, but it works with old browsers like mine.

congoblue you could download a previous release of Web Remote as well to archieve the same result.

Yeah thanks but I would like to have the option to use the latest web remote as well rather than staying stuck on an old version (though we don't use remote currently).

I understand why the browser version is important if you get to stage view via the web remote, but if you enter the direct link http://127.0.0.1:4316/stage (or whatever the IP is) then it still jumps back into the remote and rejects the browser, though there is nothing on the stage view page itself that needs a new browser, as far as I can work out.

Sorry I see there are already several threads about this, which I could not find for some reason.
