Has anyone else seen this issue?

I have multiple OpenLP portable versions (2.4.6, 3.0.2, 3.1.0 rc2, 3.1.0 rc4) on a Windows 10 21H2 machine. I have been happily switching from one version to another for several months whilst managing my church's migration to OpenLP 3.

However since I started using 3.1.0 rc4 I've started to see this error which stops OpenLP 3.1.0 rc4 starting

It seems to happen only if I have previously opened 2.4.6. All other versions will start, but I can only get 3.1.0 rc4 back by rebooting windows. I admit what I am doing is an edge case, but I'm curious about what is going on.

Thanks,
Andrew

AndrewArm Hrm, did you previously run any of the OpenLP versions as administrator? That is not a file that OpenLP even bundles, never mind directly uses. I would definitely check the permissions of that file if I were you.

      Hi Raoul,
I have just tried again on a different pc and got the same result. So I emptied %AppData%\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts.
Start OpenLP 3.1.0rc4 and these fonts appear

Close OpenLP and then try to start 3.0.2 rc1. It fails with the permission denied error.
I have re-done my initial testing and the problem does seem to be switching between 3.1.0 and 3.0.2. OpenLP 2.4.6 (installed) is unaffected.
      It is very puzzling.

AndrewArm Oh, of course. Those are the icons that OpenLP uses. I'm not sure why you're getting the permissions error though. One of those Windows mysteries. Have you tried checking the permissions on the folder itself? Or one of the parent folders?
