Doesn't work

Has anyone ever actually gotten this program to work? I've tried it on Windows 11, 10, Ubuntu 19.04, 22.04, Fedora, 37, 38, 39 all with fresh OS installs on two different computers. Not one single time have I have gotten OpenLP to work. I've only gotten it to launch on Fedora 39 and it encounters two different errors immediately after startup. Can someone, anyone PLEASE tell me what's required just to get this program to run?

Hi, I hat OpenLP installed before, and recently I upgraded to Ubuntu 23.10 Now I tested to install Openlp 3.0.2+ds-1 (it's in the Universe Repositories). It works flawlessly. I successfully tested: songs, bibles (online and offline), presentation, images, media, special slides, remote control via Firefox.
It's all working fine here at my place

There are many people using OpenLP weekly without a problem. Posting a problem description other than doesn't work, OpenLP version and error messages or log files might help us diagnose your issue.

OpenLP 3.02 does NOT work for me under Ubuntu 23.04. I have no idea why. Could you give me an advice please? See the video. The whole picture shakes. It's the only program that does that

PaTER68 By chance, is your Ubuntu 23.04 using Wayland as it's graphics configuration?

As stated in the 3.0.2 release blog:
"OpenLP at present does not behave well under Wayland so the recommendation is to run under X11. If you can't run in X11 (or prefer to run it in XWayland), you should start it with QT_QPA_PLATFORM environment variable set to xcb, although the Main View from the Web Remote will not work."

If not, then not sure... as a church, we use Mint more than Ubuntu.

We have been using version 2.4.6 under Windows 8/10/11 many years without any problems and still do. The newer versions give us some problems so we wait some versions before switching.
