Remote Control Not Working – “Not Found”

I am trying to use the Web Remote in OpenLP, but when accessing it via browser, I only get the following message:

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on the server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

OpenLP version: 3.1.7

Could you please help me set up the remote control correctly?

Hi TheRedNo, are you accessing the Web Remote URL from the same device running OpenLP or another device? If it is another device, have you checked that it is on the same network as the one running OpenLP? All devices must be on the same network in order to be able to communicate.

For me, it makes no difference whether it’s on the same device or another one in the same network – the same error occurs in both cases.

I get you now. I have experienced something like that on a device that was restricted by an IT policy. Maybe this is your firewall doing its job of not allowing URLs it deems unsafe or insecure.

But Openlp opens the used ports in the firewall

TheRedNo try reinstalling it by clearing the remotes subdirectory that is located in the data directory of OpenLP. You can look that up in the advanced settings of OpenLP.
