Potential Bug:: Duplication of Titles

Currently using the latest build of Open LP in Windows 10. When I create a service, or move a song to live view, it adds another copy of itself to the song list in the library. For instance the song "All my Hope" was listed 4 times before I discovered this. The duplicates can be deleted without harm,.

On a secondary note: The "Find duplicate songs" tool fails to find these duplicates.

There are a few other posts about this issue elsewhere on this forum. Almost certainly it is due to OpenLP thinking a song in a service file is missing from the song database and due to the setting add missing songs it duly adds the song. You can prevent this by unlocking that option, but if course this means that songs that are genuinely missing don't get added either.

Could you post a service file that causes this behaviour so I can take a look to see possibly why this is happening? My current theory is that it may be due to letters in the title that have accents etc.
