It seems like BibleGateway is no longer available in countries that have GDPR regulations. Bible Gateway say they are working on a solution.
For those of you who don't have a problem with using a VPN to make the Bible Gateway server think you are in a different country then I can confirm that OpenLP will then be able to download bible passages from Bible Gateway.
Personally I have used Windscribe VPN (just the Free version), if you confirm your email address when creating an account then you get a data allowance of 10GB per month. Even 2GB would be enough for downloading the whole Bible in multiple versions! Once you have used a chapter within OpenLP it is cached so you can spend a happy half hour opening each book in the bible so that the whole bible is cached!
