I’m using OpenLP in my church and I find it very complete already.
However, there is one key feature I’m missing for worship leading:
As a worship leader, I’d like to have a full view of the song (lyrics + chords, all verses, choruses, bridges, etc.), not just the slide-by-slide structure.
From this director view, I’d like to be able to send a chosen song directly to Live in OpenLP, so that it is displayed on the projector.
Currently, I can customize the song display for musicians and singers, but I haven’t found a way to push a song from a “director” view into the Live projection.
👉 Does this functionality already exist (maybe through the API, a plugin, or a hidden option)?
👉 If not, is it something that could be considered on the roadmap, or is there a recommended way to achieve it (script, extension, etc.)?
