Countdown video

Hello! I have created this welcome countdown video in mp4 and when I project it for the audience to see, it doesn't show up on my screen. How come? Can any one help me fix it so that I can also see it? ( see image )

Are you using the most recent version 3.1.7?

Thank you for your response. Yes I have the lastest version of the portable version.

With version 3.1.7, I no longer see any video in the live view, or in my custom stage view that used to show videos. There was a problem in earlier versions in that the audio would play in live view and with the projector and the two were not in sync. None of this is an issue for us because we are also streaming with OBS and we can see the video via display capture in OBS.
If this is resolved or changed back in a future version, we need to have the option (or normal behaviour) of not putting the audio out in the live view.

Jamie Hockin My understanding is that MP4 is a container file format. The video inside the container can be in several different codecs.

Do any other videos play in OpenLP?

Have you tried converting the video (use HandBrake - open source video converter) to another format?

Is VLC properly configured to work with OpenLP?
