funkydan2 By 'won't even start', do you mean there's nothing showing on the screen (other than the icon bouncing in the dock)?
One, maybe two, bounces of the icon in the dock. And that's it.

No output whatsoever.
funkydan2 Have you tried moving the service file to another location? (As in, if you've saved it in Documents then move it to Desktop. Then start OpenLP.
Yes. Moved location. Sorry, I forgot that was one of the things I tried. No change.
funkydan2 Have you tried reinstalling the app? (You could delete it first, but even just installing it over the top could repair corrupted files.)
I considered that move very seriously, and more than a few times! I just didn't know what possible further damage I might cause. So no, I didn't do that.
I have been busy the past few hours recreating the service because OpenLP has started in a newly created user account. However, even though I pointed the data folder back to the original user's data folder, none of my custom slides, themes, song edits, let's face it, nothing is there!
It's nearly 1:00 A.M. and I'm about half way through recreating the service. A long night is ahead of me …
