I have noticed that the theme backgrounds in OpenLP look great on my laptop screen but appear darker; washed out / overly bright when displayed on the church projector. This happens even when using the same service file and settings. Sometimes, text that looks readable on the laptop becomes hard to see on the projector. :
I suspect this could be due to differences in color calibration, projector brightness, or OpenLP’s rendering settings. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there recommended display settings, color profiles / adjustments within OpenLP to ensure the backgrounds look consistent across different screens? If there’s a way to preview how a theme will appear on a projector before the service, that would be really helpful. Any best practices for managing background images and colors across different display devices?
