Windows and macOS interoperability

I create OpenLP worship services on a Windows 10 desktop, test it, and then transfer the OpenLP data & services folders to a Windows 11 laptop which runs the service at church.

A church member is willing to takeover running the church service, and she would like to test the worship service setup beforehand so she knows what to expect. But she has a macOS system at home with PowerPointmacOS and Adobe pdf installed, so she has the functionality needed.

Question: If we copy the OpenLP data & services folders from my Windows 10 file system into her macOS file systen, should OpenLP on her macOS work with them wihout modification? Does anybody have experience doing this? Create service on Windows and then copy and run it on a Mac?

Yes, OpenLP on macOS should work with Windows-created service files since they use a cross-platform XML format. However, check for issues with file paths, missing fonts, and PowerPoint compatibility.
