New to Mac but not OpenLP.
Just installed OpenLP 3.1.7 on my Macbook running Sequoia 15.3.2. Trying to set up presentation software - have both native Keynote and MS Office 2024 LTSC.
When I import a presentation, it seems to have loaded, but has a strange 'delete' icon against both pptx and key files. When I try to view (preview, live or add to service then show), the message "<file>is incomplete, please reload." This is true for both Powerpoint and Keynote files.
Checking OpenLP preferences -> Presentations, it shows Pdf and Keynote as available controllers, the others are greyed out with (unavailable) against them.
After a long dig through the troubleshooting page in the manual, I find the following statement under the heading
"I have PowerPoint installed but it does not show as a presentation option
macOS
Due to limitations on macOS, OpenLP cannot currently interface with PowerPoint, LibreOffice or Keynote."
Please confirm the position regarding presentation software being driven by OpenLP in the Mac environment. If it really doesn't work, this is disappointing since the product is great. Also if it doesn't work, it would save a lot of time loading and testing, digging through the manual, etc, if you made this a little more obvious when downloading, opening, importing presentations, or at other useful points in the user discovery journey.
If it actually does work, and I have to do something to encourage it to work, please explain what that is.
Many thanks
