Hi,
First, thanks for what you are doing. OpenLP has been the very best solution for my workflow, where I use it to display verses, songs, slides, and videos on a livestream, and I can react realtime to whatever is going on in the service regardless of whether it was explicitly planned.
I have a Mac running Sonoma with the built-in display plus two external monitors. OpenLP outputs to one external monitor and the OBS stream outputs fullscreen on the other for the purpose of viewing the service in other parts of the building.
However, I'm still using 2.4.6 because 2.4.6 doesn't show the menu bar on the presentation screen. I would love to upgrade, but the menu bar is what's preventing me. I know there is a workaround (dating back to 2014) to uncheck "Displays have separate spaces," but that causes other problems with OBS. (Specifically, when OBS goes to "full screen mode" while "Displays have separate spaces" is unchecked, it blacks out all other displays, including the one OpenLP is running on.) So OBS, and presumably any software that uses "full screen mode" isn't compatible with this setting.
I hear that you're working on OpenLP 4.0. Any chance this can be fixed in the future?
Thanks, and God bless you for your work!
