To be slightly more on topic, we don't have a specific roadmap (as an open source project, I don't think we ever really do), but there are some big underlying changes that we're making to move forward with the libraries we use. There will no doubt be a number of other fixes, changes, updates and new features, but we're currently concentrating on the big stuff.
Technical (under the hood) details:
- Upgrading from Qt5 to Qt6
- Moving to PySide instead of PyQt
- Using the built-in media capabilities of Qt6, rather than VLC
Non-technical details:
- All the goodness from v3
- Better media support
- Various improvements to chords support
