We use Powerpoint in presentation mode at our church, so I downloaded openlp (1.2.3) on my home laptop to test it out and see if it's significantly better.

Unfortunately, I too have display problems.

I run WinXP (SP2) on a Lenovo T61. I have two displays set up to extend my desktop to the secondary monitor -- I can drag windows from one display to another. Powerpoint runs in presentation mode on my home laptop. My primary display is my laptop (1440x900). My secondary display is a Lenovo L215pwA (1920x1080). (At least that's what my Display Properties dialog says it is...I can't recall the exact model number...) My graphics adapter (again, according to the Display Properties dialog) is an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M.

When I change the settings to display lyrics on Monitor 2, nothing changes on Monitor 2 (or on Monitor 1). I can drag windows over there just fine, but nothing from openlp seems to go there.

When I change the settings to display lyrics on Monitor 1, if I move the openlp window over to Monitor 2, then I can see that Monitor 1 is black, but I don't see any lyrics or verses, etc., from openlp.

One minor oddity in my setup is that my secondary display is to the left of the primary -- and that seems to make a difference. When I switch my Display Properties so that Monitor 2 is on the right, then the symptoms above change: If the settings are to display lyrics on Monitor 2, then Monitor 2 goes black and nothing else from openlp goes there. If the settings are to display lyrics on Monitor 1, then I don't see a change.
