Need update on when the virus will be removed from 3.1.5 or will there be another upgrade

TTOG so as it seems there is another update needed. As we speak we are doing some final tests for our new cicd pipeline.

You have to turn off your virus scanner or add an exception for OpenLP. For me it works.

We are preparing a 3.1.6 release that will prevent the false antivirus warning.

I tested the 3.1.6 now from download archive on Win11.
Defender is still catching the downloaded file. But if I allow it, then it leaves me alone, and let me install it without problem.
As for 3.1.5 the Defender kept killing it during installation and running as well. But the newest version runs fine once you allow the download.

Just downloaded and installed 3.1.6 on a Win11 PC running Norton 360 AV. No problems with Norton blocking download or installation this time round. On running OpenLP Norton reported that it was a potentially suspicious file, then it ran an in-depth scan and reported it as safe and allowed OpenLP to run. Looking good so far.

SPMD thanks, I am using Microsoft Defender on Windows 11 myself.

I still had to jump through hoops to get the installation file to download but there were no alerts during installation and running of OpenLP.

PaulRowell Yes, unfortunately the only solution for that is that more users will get to know and use OpenLP so that it becomes a less unknown application.
