Feature Request - Extra Bible Import Formats

Hi,

I was in a discussion elsewhere on the forums about importing Bibles, and became aware of some open source projects that may help OpenLP import a wider range of Bible formats

One format I don't believe OpenLP supports is Beblia XML. Is that correct?

I can't seem to get these to import with any import setting...

Could some of the following sources help? Even if they are in Java? Or could they steer devs in the right direction?

Wouldn't it be great if there could be some unified import & export libraries that all OpenSource Bible related apps could tap into, like the Document Liberation Project does for office documents?

I have found this tool that that seems easy to use and that will probably work in many cases and make this request unnecessary.

It runs in Windows, but I also managed to get it running on Linux using Wine

To run using Wine on Linux, I used a helper app called PlayonLinux - it should automatically install the 2 needed dependencies - I think it used Mono instead of .Net and Gecko viewer instead of Microsoft Edge WebView2 - otherwise you can install these from the install tab by selecting "POL_Install_gecko" and "POL_Install_mono6.12" (or similar). All of these components need to be in the same virtual drive, and then you need to run the exe file from where you downloaded it using something like the third post in this forum
