Hello everyone, I wanted to share an issue that we are currently facing during our church services.
Our church services are in turkish and german. We show the lyrics to our worship songs in both languages and everything that's being said gets translated. We use OpenLP to present the lyrics of the worship songs and to show the bible verses of the sermon.
My question is about the bible verses. We have added two online databases with two bible translations, one in turkish and one in german. If there is one verse to be shown for example Joshua 1:9 and we select both translations it shows the verse in turkish and german without any issues. If it's only one selected verse it always works. But as soon as we want to show two or more verses for example Joshua 1:9-10 it won't show both languages. It will only show the one we have selected first. Somehow it doesn't let us show both languages at the same time as soon as we select more than one verse. We are currently working around this problem by adding the desired verses onto one page in one language and onto a second page the same verses in the other. This works but it is not ideal especially because in most cases there would be more than enough space on the page for the other translation. Even if it didn't fit and a second page was automatically created because the maximum number of characters was exceeded, that would be better than continuing as it is now. We would love some help on this issue.
