I am putting together a tech overhaul plan to present to the managers at my church.
My idea is to remove some of the burden off the admin team that puts together the slides whilst still keeping it versatile.
How I envision using OpenLP is as the presentation software for the whole service except for the sermon where we will use a video switcher to change the projector to the pulpit laptop.
It seems perfect in every way, besides the Songs element. We are a church that sings psalms only, and our slides include musical notation. We have each psalm in PPT format, although we can convert them into whatever will work best. What is the best way for us to load these slides in such that the admin team can easily select a psalm for the order of service. Is it even something that OpenLP supports? Is there a downside of loading in 250+ slideshows? Can we load pictures into the songs?
We don’t plan to load in any other presentations.
Any suggestions?
