Hi Open LP Community,
I am Julie from the Philippines. Hope everyone is healthy and safe.
We have been using OpenLP in our church service and it has been a great tool for us to reach out to our guests and visitors who doesn't have a bible, as they can see God's word projected on the screen.
We are located in central island of the Philippines, called "Visayas". As the name itself indicates, the language we mainly speak here is "Visayan" or "Bisaya" or "Cebuano". Any of these three names only point out to one dialect. Most of our visitors maybe able to read the English language we use on OpenLP however, their comprehension of this language maybe limited, hence, also limiting their capacity to digest God's word in full.
We've been trying to import the Cebuano translation of the Bible to OpenLP but because it is not listed as recognizable language on its database, our import always fails. I am praying you will be able to help me in this gap, so we can reach out more people to Christ through the gospel. Thank you and have a blessed day.
