Editor does not see spaces

In older versions I could move a line of text to the left or right by adding spaces either before or after the text I want to move, in version 3 this is not working. I created a tag to left justify the text but then I can't color the text, I get a "misplaced formatting tag" error when saving.

Is there a work around for this issue,

Hi,

For a few songs I made a center, left and right alignment tag; {cent}, {al}and {ar}.

The configuration of the tags itself consists of a span HTML element with some CSS code to set the alignment and color of the text. I also included some HTML none-breaking space elements (nbsp;) to add some margin to the right side:

When you made changes in the formatting tags you will have to restart OpenLP to let them take effect.

I hope this will help you to set up the formatting tags the correct way.

I created those tags but it does not give me the ability to move the text where I want it, here is an example of what I want to do.

Maybe you can create a tag named space for html code <span>  with closing tag </span>. You can use this tag to indent with the amount spaces needed.
