Does anyone know how to correct the incorrect spelling of licence in the footer? Seeing 'license' on the screen on every song looks rather unprofessional. It appears to be something preset in the software, but I am no expert, so may well have missed a route to editing it.
Incorrect spelling of Licence in footer
Everything is translatable, did you specify the language, or is it just defaulting to English?
I suspect that this a mistake in the en_GB dictionary, which I don't know how to correct, but the good news is that providing you are using 3.0.2, you are able to completely configure the footer contents.
In the Songs tab of Configure OpenLP you can see the footer configuration on the right. Here you can see the variable that you need to change ${ccli_licence_label}
In the Footer template section all you need to do is add this line at the top
<% ccli_license_label = "CCLI Licence" %>
and you will have the British and therefore correct :-) spelling.
If it is the en_GB translation, you can update it in Transifex: https://explore.transifex.com/openlp/openlp/
I've submitted suggestions in Transifex for everywhere licence appears incorrectly.
I've made reference to https://www.grammarly.com/blog/licence-license/ in the comments section of a couple.
