Hey, Please help.
When I send any audio to live it resets the output volume to 50%. I can manually open volume settings and change it, but when the next audio plays it resets again. I have looked everywhere to find a way to change the default audio leve to 100%. Where should I be looking to change it?
I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish (x86-64), Cinnamon desktop 5.2.7, Kernel 5.19.0-43-generic, AMD ryzen 5 pro 4650U with Radeon Graphics x6.
I've got OpenLP 2.9.5 freshly installed (but i've had this problem for a year on older versions too).
I keep audio (and sometimes video) saved in a service file. I open the service file and play any audio or video file and when I check in the sound settings I see that the application is listed as "VLC media player (LibVLC 3.0.16" and shows it's at 50% volume. I've tried changing settings directly through VLC. I've tried "--volume=100" in the extra arguments section of OpenLP.
I'm usually playing sound directly from my laptop to the Church sound system and having the laptop output at 50% means I have to bump up the gain at the sound system. Please help me find how to adjust this default level!
