Oh where oh where has the Main View gone?

Are there plans to have the Main Remote View work like the 2.4.6 versions and be helpful? The very unnecessary view of showing the desktop of the OpenLP software for the whole church (and livestream) to see (image1) is not helpful nor needed.

I am glad I continue to test out the new versions on a standalone computer instead of upgrading the one used by several churches that I help out, that are still on 2.4.6. Because on these, at least the Main View URL actually shows what I want it to and NOT the OpenLP software...as seen in image2 (where ManyCam is looking at the OpenLP main URL as a video layer on computer running OpenLP and NOT the OpenLP software!)

Will the proper ability to see OpenLP via a URL where it is reflected the same on the FOH (Front of House) main screens/projector, return? Or is that not coming back?

The new behavior in OpenLP 3.x is to use a screenshot of the desktop portion that matches the display settings (to ease the use of presentations, for example). There are some known bugs involving HiDPI screens that should be fixed soon (by https://gitlab.com/openlp/openlp/-/merge_requests/582; including an option that effectively reverts to the mode used by OpenLP 2.4.x).
