Hello, I seem not to be able to run OpenLP on my Windows 10 laptop (AMD Ryzen 4500U, 16GB of RAM). When I launch it from command line or Start Menu, the process runs for a few seconds, then dies. It gives no error message. I have tried this with the 64-bit and 32-bit versions, and also the portable version, all with the same results. I found the error.log file, which contains:

-----

Windows fatal exception: access violation

Current thread 0x00002fa8 (most recent call first):

File "openlp\core\app.py", line 417 in main

File "openlp\__main__.py", line 75 in start

 File "openlp\__main__.py", line 79 in <module>

I can't figure out what to make of that. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and deleting the OpenLP folder from the Windows registry. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get OpenLP running on my laptop? Thanks!

Well, never mind. Just like the FAQ said, it turned out to be a video driver issue. Since I wasn't getting an error message at all, I thought it was something different. It turns out that I had all sorts of problems (possible corruption?) in my video driver and related software. Took me a while to straighten out, but I got it done and now OpenLP opens up just fine.
