Morvyn Thought this bug had been fixed but on 3.0.2. Every time a song is clicked with attached backgroun audio. The music starts automatically.. Need the ability to do manunal start!
FGCTampa Same here. Despite the setting in preferences not being selected to auto play background music (also deselected the auto play media when live) it still auto plays a song's music immediately upon sending it to live on the screen. We had a piano player today, so it was a bit awkward to have the music start on its own. This did not happen until upgrading to version 3 last week.
FGCTampa Nope, my "Song related settings" are exactly as in your attachment, but when I selected a song to display even this morning, it did it again, the attached mp3 started playing immediately, over our piano player.
FGCTampa raoul Did you try setting it, and then unsetting it?Yes, several times. Closing app between tries, rebooting even. Still does it.
Morvyn Getting complaints from congregation that if I load another song onto live display, the music will play automatically, even if we are not ready. is this a known glitch?
echan101 And actually I figured out what was causing the autoplay to be sticky. In the data/openlp.ini file there was a line auto%20play%20audio=false media%20auto%20start=0 I'm not sure what combination of parameters caused it to be sticky, but if I just delete data/openlp.ini and start openlp then the autoplay-when-changing-songs problem disappears. But the other problems with blanking and unblanking remain.
