OpenLP and OBS best set up (SOLVED)

I've figured out probably the best way to integrate OBS and OpenLP. It works whether OpenLP is running locally on the same computer, and also if OpenLP is running on a separate computer (because it's all based on browser sources).

There's two components:

Dock the OpenLP web controller into OBS as a Custom Browser Dock.Add OpenLP lyrics to OBS as a Browser Source, by using a simple custom Stage View. No greenscreening is needed.

It only takes 5 minutes to set up, and I've got a full video below showing the steps and some tips.

Finally, to send PowerPoint or video to OBS, you can use the standard Screen Capture source (if OpenLP is local) or NDI (if OpenLP is on a different computer).

Hi, I'm curious, with the latest update (3.1.1 OpenLP & OBS 30.1.1) when I switch between songs and blank slides, the lyrics from the previous slide stay up and I have to manually refresh the source to get it to change. In my "blank" slides between songs I do have a number of "spaces" added so there is technically content in the slide to trigger the switch. But somehow that is not working anymore as a solution. Changing between verses and other slides works perfectly still. Any ideas or can you point me to a better place to ask the question?

I've shared a simpler javascript that will blank the OBS browser when the screen is blanked.

Looks really interesting, but even your "updated" version says to use older versions of OpenLP and OBS.

Do these tricks work on the latest versions ?

I agree this is the way I do it. Using docks and custom stage views. I have made a pack of stage views.

This collection auto hides depending on weather it is live or not and weather the current view is a bible or song.

So you create custom dock for OpenLP remote

Create a scene that has your browser source. This scene can now have a Bible Custom stage view and a Song Stage view.
