This is a really useful thread - will have to try it all out.

We currently run OpenLP and OBS on the same computer, which doesn't have quite enough power to allow videos to show smoothly in OpenLP. We're on Windows 10 and I use AutoHotKey to automate scene switching and OpenLP changes. With OpenLP in focus, it's navigation keys go right to the live view to change service items and verses. OBS hotkeys go straight to OBS even if it is not in focus (maybe a feature request for OpenLP?) For now, we don't stream / record videos. With a modern CPU and the right GPU, one machine will do all of this easily.

I have to solve an LAN firewall issue and get OpenLP remote working before I can try this two-computer model.

I have just found this thread and finding it fascinating but slightly outside of my current coding skill set. I wondered if any of you wonderful people out there were still monitoring this thread and could help me out?

I have tried following all the various instructions and updates to get this to work with OpenLP 3.0.2 and OBS 29.1.3. But I think I am just out of my skill set a little bit and can't quite knit together all the various elements to allow me to change the OBS scenes through OpenLP with the changes in the API since the OP.

I understand this is an extraordinarily cheeky request but is there anyone out there that has got this to work as the OP did way back when in the newer versions of OpenLP and is happy to share that?
