I'm curious what it would take to make OpenLP truly multi-user?

Currently it can sort of be used that way by sharing the data file through some sort of network or cloud service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) but it's awkward. For instance, if I create a formatting tag on my computer and use it in a slide and someone else opens that slide on another computer that formatting tag doesn't exist on their computer. There's currently no way (without digging into the registry) to export formatting tags. In my opinion formatting tags could be saved as a settings file in xml format in the data folder and read/edited/saved by any user through the UI. This way any edit would be universal to the system. If multiple people are sharing one data file.

Has any discussion been done on starting the process of making OpenLP more multi-user friendly? I'm not a programmer but would be willing to put forth some financial support to help make this happen.
