Displaying a webpage

Has anyone found a way to display/embed a webpage with OpenLP or along side. The specific use is to project screen adverts on a loop from our church website. (I know how to make a loop of images in OpenLP, just trying to do the work once and have it display everywhere - hence display a webpage)

See my comment on your other post in the forums. Otherwise I know some folks on the forums were playing with embedding web pages. There's a search box in the top right corner.<br>

It's a bit hit and miss,(actually it's a whole lot hit and miss) but worth trying...<br><br>Settings > Configure formatting tags<br>I create a new tag called, "web"...<br><br>Start code is:<br><meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=<br><br>Close code is:<br>/"></meta><br><br>Then create a custom slide with:<br>{web}http://openlp.org{/web}<br id="null">

I realize this is 4 years old. but...<br><br>sirhcllenrad your solution is more Hit than miss other than openlp is finicky about the strt tag not being complete html code. <br><br>So I got it to work. My question is why on remote on my Android, the webpage won't display in Live View. Just show a black screen with web (name of my tag) in lower left corner. <br><br>I used a youtube video.<br><br>AND my phone seems to cause the video to play twice if it was already displaying the video in the PC application Live View.<br><br>Any Ideas?<br><br><br>

No idea about your question - just stopped by to mention that I could get this to work by using <iframe instead of <meta.

I tried the solution but it displays only a small window (the default size of iframe most probably).

This is my code for web tag

The display size is 1920 x 1080 then it is not the source of problem.

Looks like iframe size is not working in OpenLP.

What did I make wrong ?

You might need px after the sizes? I set my to the display size of the monitor and it looks like width="900px" height="1600px"

I tried percentages. Width seemed to work but it ignored the height. Pixels seem to be the way to go.

Same result with/without px.

Most probably there are missing iframe options allow or other.

I have very limited html knowledge.

I'll continue searching.

Here's exactly what I have (just in case) -- and if it's any comfort, I have no idea what I'm really doing or why it's working in my particular setup -- I just keep trying things till something sticks :)

For the tag settings:

Description My iFrame

Tag iframe

Start HTML <iframe src="

End HTML

></iframe>

then - in my custom slide or song slide:

{iframe}https://mysite.org{/iframe}

I played around with the embed tag too and got that to work too. Hope you get something working!
