Loop Video

HI Folks, I'm new to Open LP.  I have videos running in Open LP, there's a particular video that I want to loop.  How do I loop a video?

HI jmcarrillo!

OpenLP does not support looping of videos yet,

this is however in our list of features we wish to 

introduce in the future (as are many other things).

For now, you must do the looping with a different program,

such as the VLC media player.

Just to be clear, does this mean that I run the video in VLC instead of OpenLP?  Secondly, I previously used VLC to run a playlist of videos, now I just run them in OpenLP, but we still create a playlist in VLC as a backup in case we have any problems with OpenLP.  Can I import the VLC playlist into OpenLP and have OpenLP play the videos in that list?

Yes, you have to run the video in VLC instead of OpenLP.

You also must have looping enabled in your VLC.

OpenLP does not support playlist made by other programs,

so using the VLC playlists is not possible.
