PDF Files not working (Portable v. 2.1.4)

I’m having troubles with the .pdf function. <o:p></o:p>

OpenLP displays only (background color?) for each page of document, no text.<o:p></o:p>

Running OpenLP 2.1.4 Release Candidate 1 Portable edition in Windows 8.1 <o:p></o:p>

I tried to set OLP to use Ghoscript executables in options but it had no better results. <o:p></o:p>

Am I doing something wrong here or do we have a bug here? <o:p></o:p>

Hi, It works for me using the portable 2.1.4 build. Could you perhaps post / link the pdf you're trying to display? And a debug log could also be useful. See how to create a debug log on our wiki.

Could you post the full log from OpenLP where you open the pdf in OpenLP?

How does the full log differ from generated .log (In Drive link)  and where may I find it?<o:p></o:p>

This problem seems to occur mostly on my home pc. Tried the pdf function at church on 3 machines and most of the files worked. It would appear renaming the files that don’t work causes them to work. I’ve encountered some weird scenarios: Generally speaking when File does not work, renaming it on home PC has no effect Renaming the same file on laptop and opening on OLP causes it to work with both laptop and PC. All the computers use Google Drive to access the portable installation. I’ve also set OLP to use built in mudraw.exe file for pdf files.<o:p></o:p>

I’m not sure how the data files work but it might be related to some kind of corruption in files related to storing the files and synching. Pdf files don't work on my non portable home  PC installiation either.<o:p></o:p>

This explanation might seem messy, sorry about that.<o:p></o:p>

By full log I mean the full debug log. To create a debug log you must run OpenLP in debug mode, which on windows is done done by chosing the  "OpenLP (debug)" entry in the start menu.

We will update our internal Pdf reader in the next release - there's a chance this will this your problems.

I added full debug log to earlier provided Drive folder. The pdf files worked on my 2nd portable build on same computer, which makes me think it is somehow related to data files. .. But lets wait for the new update for now. :)
