[Feature request] Video subtitle files

Dear OpenLP team,

Our church is located in Finland and our majority language is Finnish.

Sometimes we use videos with English audio and Finnish subtitles.

Using subtitle files is not possible through OpenLP, thus some video files can't be operated with OpenLP in our case.

Would it be possible to add support for subtitle files, such as .srt? VLC supports subtitles afterall.. This probably has been discussed earlier but I didn't manage to find earlier topics.

Hi,

This is actually possible already. 

Open VLC, go to Tools->Preferences, chosse the "Subtitles/OSD" settings and type "any" in the "Preferred subtitle language".

Then name your SRT file the same as the video file, e.g. movie1.mp4 and movie1.srt, and place them in the same folder.

Play using in OpenLP using VLC, now with subtitles! :D
