Bibles do not show after OpenLP 2.0.5 is installed

I downloaded the Windows version of OpenLP 2.0.5 from the download link on the www.openlp.org site. I selected two Bible translations for download - King James (English) and the Loius Segon (French). After the installation, I launched OpenLp but none of the two Bibles appear in the Media Manager. All the plugins were activated on the plugin selection page.

Please what could be the cause of this and what should I do to make the Bibles visible. We need to project both translations (English and french) simultaneously in our Church. I use Windows 7.

Just to confirm, you cannot see either of the Bibles in the drop down list, as per the manual: http://manual.openlp.org/mediamanager.html#bibles

I have the same problem. Yes, I cannot see any bible in the drop down list. When I open the data base file I can find under bible one translation but this is not shown in the drop down list. I have tried several actions but had no success.

Have you tried moving the Bible out of the folder and importing it via the Bible Import?

I am experiencing a very similar problem. I just installed the Windows version of OpenLP 2.0.5 but selected 3 translations - American Standard (English), King James (English), and Las Sagradas Escrituras (Spanish). All three versions indicated they were copied down during the install, but when started the software and went to the Bible dropdown list, the only version available is ASV. 

I would move the Bible out of the folder and import it as you suggest, but I do not know what folder the Bibles are in.

Later, I did try connecting to Bible Gateway, and was able to successfully add one of their bibles in addition to the ASV. However, I really would like to get the other installed versons working, since Bible Gateway will only work while connected to the internet.

OK, so I think I found the bible folder in windows - is it ..\AppData\Roaming\openlp\data\bibles ? If so, the only object there is ASV.sqlite - seems odd because the KJV & Spanish versions seemed to run a long time at install as if they were installing.

Is anyone successfully using multiple downloaded Bible versions with OpenLP 2.0.5? I am only able to see and access he ASV, even though I downloaded 3 versions at installation.

Hi,

I can confirm that on Windows only the first selected bible in the First Time Wizard gets imported into OpenLP. This bug affects both 2.0.5 and the recently released 2.1.1 beta.

I will look into why this happens and try to fix it.

OK, I've dug a bit... This is not limited to Windows, and it has to do with the format of the downloaded bibles. Since we've updated the format a few time a long the way it seems we've accidentally dropped support for the format that KJV is in. This is fairly easy to fix and the upcoming 2.2 release should not have this problem.
