First of all, I want to give a big thank you to all the developers involved in OpenLP. I have a couple features I would love to see in one of the upcoming releases. I am sure other members in the community would also benefit from these features. I am sorry if this has already been requested, but I had not seen anything referenced to these requests. Our church currently uses two Windows PCs running Mediashout for the main sanctuary. We have 3 projectors on stage, center for backgrounds, video, etc, and two side projectors for lyric projection. So, the computer being used for the Center Projector, only needs to be able to cross-fade between videos, and mediashout makes it very easy to choose your next clip, because of the thumbnail view. You just scroll down until you find what you are looking for. This works great for an on-the-fly background change. We have never really scripted our backgrounds, we just kind of go with the flow. So this is the main reason behind the two requests below.

Custom Slides
Support for adding images, videos, etc to a slide
thumbnail previews for these slides (just like for the presentations)
This would be the most optimal solution for us. Allowing you to scroll down your list of slides, and choose the video you are looking for.

Thumbnail Previews for the Service Manager
Kind of the same concept here, if we add an image or video to the service manager, it would be nice to have a visual representation of that media item, without having to preview the item first. That way we can scroll down the list, and visual select the item we want. I have attached an image of a standard mediashout presentation below. I'm not looking for you to change up the UI of OpenLP or anything like that, I am simply looking for an easier way to get a quick visual on the items in the service manager list.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my request. I hope I have been clear enough on what I'm looking for. I hope some other members in the community will also comment on this request, and maybe touch on a couple points I may have over looked. Or at least give your +1 on this request. I can't be the only person who would benefit from something like this.

Thanks again,
