Video/Media won't play

Downloaded OpenLP today, first time using something outside PowerPoint for slide display.  Figuring things out a bit, but having an issue with video.  I have tried .wmv, .avi, and .3gpp All video formats will play audio, but no video.  Have tried the Phonon check box, and can't seem to get the video to play.

Hi Kevin, We recommend using VLC for videos. You need to download and install VLC, and then select VLC as your preferred media player in OpenLP.

I installed the VLC and it didn't work... right away.  Turns out the problem may have been with me to begin with though.  The Configure OpenLP/Media I had checked for the Phonon to be active before, but didn't up it on the list.  VCL didn't work at first because I didn't up it to the top of the list.  Once done, Video's working good with either Phonon or VCL at the top of the list. Thanks for the input everyone.
