smgrey
I've discovered what appears to be a problem in the text editing function.

1. Select a line of text within a song and copy or cut it from it's original position.

2. Position the cursor at the start of an existing line and paste.

3. The first couple of characters of the current line disappear and are overwritten by the pasted content.

If you are copying a "----[verse:1]----" line - it wipes out the first "----[" element of the existing line.

If you first add a new blank line to the song and then paste, there is no issue with the existing content.

raoul
I'm afraid I cannot reproduce your problem. Every time and every way I tried, based on your explanation, it works perfectly for me. Can you close OpenLP and open it again and try this again? And restart your computer? I presume you're using Windows?

phill
Raoul,

I've managed to replicate this. But it only happens using the (right click) context menu. It works perfectly fine using the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + X, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V)

phill
smgrey,

Thanks for letting us know about this. I've logged a bug report at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openlp/+bug/1081469

God Bless

smgrey
Raoul & Phil - glad you could verify the issue.

Yes, it is a Windows 7 machine (all latest patches) and I do happen to use the context menu for editing on that system most of the time.

Scott
