<p>Hi all,</p><p>We're not currently using OpenLP but considering switching. There's something we need to work out first though.</p><p>At some of our services we need to put up spontaneous choruses, messages, etc. on screen quickly. We're currently using Presenter 3 (http://presentersoftware.com/) which makes this really easy: all you have to do is click the 'Message' tab, type your message, and click display.</p><p>If we were going to use OpenLP we'd probably have to add custom slides, and then every time we want to display a new message we'd have to right-click them in the Service Manager, select edit, click add, type our message, OK out of that, then select the new slide in the Live Panel to display it. I'm just wondering if we could make it quicker.</p><p>One option might be to have an 'Add Slide' option in either the context menu of the Service Manager or in the toolbar of the Live Panel. That would do a lot to streamline the process.</p><p>Or there could be a panel on the main window (or a popup dialog) that just lets you type your message and click 'Show Message'.</p><p>Let me know if either of these would be feasible. I'm a programmer so I'd be happy to implement them myself if the changes are likely to get accepted.</p>
