Powerpoint integration

Hi Thanks for a great product which is a blessing to us in our Church. I have a problem when trying to open a PP presentation from within openlp

I just get an access violation error message. I'm using PP 2000

Any ideas?

If I could integrate PP it would really be helpful

Hi. Powerpoint is a bit of a headache. It seems that PP2000 has some issues in openlp.org. I will see if I can install 2000 and fix the problem before v1, hopefully beta6 (no promises). I think 2003 and XP are OK.

Just a quick question here - is it possible to use the free powerpoint viewer, or do you absolutely need to buy the full powerpoint package?

Unfortunately, at this stage you need the full ppt application. PPT Support is still an area requiring more development. In future versions we plan to integrate support for other presentation types too which don't require licensing.
