<p>Okay, we are doing something a little different to most in that we are using OpenLP on more than one computer and by and large it works if we copy the folder across. The problem we do get is that powerpoint thumbnails do not show. Did a bit of digging and discovered that the reason for this is that the location is stored in the service file as a literal do an exact location as shown below:</p><blockquote><p>VC:\u005cUsers\u005cProjector\u005cDropbox\u005cOpenLP Files\u005cdata\u005cpresentations\u005cthumbnails\u005cHow are your investments.pptx\u005cslide8.png</p></blockquote><p>Clearly the user name being there means that OpenLP cannot find the image once it is transfered to another machine.</p><p>I did try to do a simple replacement in the service file but then OpenLP tells me the file is corrupt.</p><p>Would it be possible to change this so that it is only the last part of this that gets stored and the first part added at runtime? This would allow for greater portability.</p>
