<p>I was wondering how I can use this software to use motion (.mpg and .mp4 h.264 files) backgrounds for the worship service. I have VLC installed on my Mac but it does not show up in (preferences, media). The only Media Players are WebKit and Phonon. </p><p>Whenever I try to click on the video in the media tab and click "replace live background" it says file format not supported. How would I get this to work?? Thanks a lot.</p>

<p>gotcha! So if I use VMware Fusion on my mac (running Windows 7) it should work? </p><p>And question 2. Do you know when VLC will be supported on Mac?</p>
<p>Note regardless of whether VLC works, live backgrounds will only currently use Webkit, and whether this works is a bit hit and miss I'm afraid at the moment.</p>
<p>I got it to work, and the background plays smoothly, but whenever I try to change slides, it lags like 5 seconds when I press the slide advance key (which when it is a static, picture) it is smooth. I have a new (1 year old)macbook pro so my computer speed is not the problem :) Thanks! </p>
