Hi,3 issues relating to song display1) I like to have a song title page. I can put the number from the hymn book on it (so that people with music copies can find it). I tend to also put the CCLI number on this page (although I can live with the footer).Any suggestions as to how to do this?2) I like to have the chorus in italics so the readers have a visual reminder that it is the chorus. Obviously I can do this song by song but I wondered if there was a way of making all chorus song elements italic3) I find it very helpful to have a visual reminder of progress through a song. 3 possible ways this can be donea) a progress bar across the bottom of the screenb) use the footer to display slide 1 of 5 or whateverc) display the first line of the next slide at the bottom of the screen (different colour so that it is obvious what it is). Then the congregation know what is coming nextObviously these could potentially be coombined.Key question is whether any of this can be done at the moment.Thanks Dave

Would it be possible to have each slide type use a span, that could be defined in a config?

Hi, 1) You could create a title page by adding an "other" verse in the song edit form, however all the information in the footer would show up on this slide, as well as on all the others. You would need to Sophie manually for each song.

There is a feature request for this. So that OpenLP would do this automatically.

2) Sorry you have to do this manually, song by song. I think this is also on our feature request list.

3) This is only available on the stage view. This is also on our feature request.

Obviously these could potentially be coombined.

Yes, I think this could be implemented in to the theme editor. I may have a look at this (with my limited skills) after v2.0 is released.

Unfortunately the developers are focusing on bug fixing and very minor features in the run up to the release of OpenLP 2.0

Thanks Phil,I realise that OpenLP is in bug fix mode so I was looking for workarounds or these to go on the long term jobs list.1) Using an "other" verse type looks a good idea. 2) I think the ealier suggestion of being able to configure a style for each verse type is a good one. For me a system wide style is enough although maybe others would prefer to be able to override it in the theme.3) Again for me the ideal would be an overall default and the ability to customise in the theme. ThanksDave
