Bible Book shown on slide

I apologize if this is addressed somewhere, I did a search and couldn't find anything.  Is there a way to have the Book name show on the slide with the chaper and verse.  we have many elderly that rely on the overhead to see the book name.  Having just the verse and chapter isn't enough.  The program we currently use posts the Book name with the verse - a lot of the church need to see that reference.Thanks.

The Bible reference should appear in the footer at the bottom of the slide. You can edit this in the theme to increase the font size if required.

Thanks - I will see what I can figure out on this.  I was going to check it at home, but after I installed the program, I have not been able to open it.  I get a message saying that it has encountered an error and can't open.  I will have to wait until I get back to the church to check, or figure out why the program crashes on my computer. Thanks again for the help...

Try running OpenLP in debug mode, and then sending us the debug log file.

That's very weird. It looks like OpenLP just dies in the middle of nowhere.Keep posting in this thread, it's better if everything stays in the same place. Having to look for little bits of information over 7 different forum threads is irritating and frustrating.

It is weird - it is like it just doesn't go anywhere.  Let me know if I need to post another debug log.  The results are the same no matter what I do.  I will try to start the program tonight after leaving the computer off all day and see if that helps...thanks

Hrm, I do have one question for you: Does your computer's graphics card have 3D capabilities, and do you have the latest drivers installed?OpenLP tries to make use of OpenGL (a 3D rendering technology that predates DirectX, and in fact was the inspiration for DirectX) to render things faster, if it is available. Normally that is not a problem, but we have had the odd report of some Windows computers that can't handle it. All other operating systems and computers seem to be fine.

raoul, I think that it does, I am not sure completely.  I looked at the device manager and checked th card, but I did not get alot of info. (not sure if I found exactly what was pointing to the card.) Do you know of a quick and easy way to check the graphics card to see what it supports?thanks
