Cannot open LP

I just downloaded the app, (Im using a MAC and have all the latest upodates etc) When download and open it i see teh icon in the dock for a few seconds then it goes away- cannot find it again and cannot use it- Mihght be doing something wrong, would appreciate any help I can get! Kenny Flaming

Hello Kenny, What version of MAC ar you using? OpenLP does currently not work on Lion. Is this the first time you installed OpenLP or did you install an older version some time ago? Hi Kenny Sorry but the short answer is: wait. The dev team is working on the issue with Lion, but unfortunately there's no timeframe for it yet. Basically OpenLP depends on a graphical toolkit (Qt) which currently has some glitches on the newest version of OS X. I haven't used open lp since i did a lion upgrade - and have just hit this problem too! I uninstalled using clean my mac and reinstalled the beta version - still nothing. It's reassuring to know that I'm not doing anything stupid - have just switched to mac after over 25 years of pc use. Have to say though that I prefer the mac! Please let me know as soon as you can when there is a fix for this.
