Install V 2.0 without Internet connection

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to have a seperate install package that allows for installation of OpenLp at Churches that don't have internet connections available, such as what we have at our local Church, (The Church office has internet but is remote to the actual Church building), also many country Parish Churches that we know of are in the same predicament. Perhaps the install package could be similar to the older version ones where everything is included in the setup.exe. If not, then is there a possibility of getting installs on a CD or DVD for people in such a predicament as what I outlined above. (Naturally the Cd's or DVD's would have to be paid for). DonP, I'm not too sure what you mean, as v2.0 doesn't require an Internet connection in order to be installed and used. There are some parts that require a connection, but they should all be optional. What are you struggling with specifically that makes you think that you can't install OpenLP on a PC without an Internet connection?

Hey, If you are interested in sample songs/bibles/themes have a look here. That is the same data you are offered to download when running the first time wizard. Cheers

I installed 1.95 at church this weekend without an internet connection and when I was done, the far left pane was empty. I imported an openlp 1.x database and the left pane was still empty. Church has a WinXP desktop system. I just tried it at home with Win7 and an internet conenction and it worked fine. Any ideas? I will try it again at church on Wednesday night. I used openlp 1.2.2 before at a different church and and loved it! Mike (just realized this was a v2 thread my mistake!)

Hello, There is a bug in Beta 1 which does not enable the plugins (as configured in the Frist Run Wizard) when you don't have an internet connection. You will need to enable them yourself. See the documentation for this. Cheers

I want to install OpenLp on a computer running Windows 7. This machine does not have internet access. From what I can gather, I should be able to download version 1.9.7 to a flash drive and then load it on the intended computer> How do I install the Bibles? All of the resources available for download in the First Run Wizard are stored at SourceForge.net. You can download them separately and then either copy them across (in the case of the Bibles) or import them (in the case of songs and themes). http://sourceforge.net/projects/openlp/files/resources/frw/
